Buffalo is carefully bred for top sport, combining proven international jumping blood with ride ability, athleticism, and a very strong reliable dam line.

On the sire side, Newmarket VM depends from the legendary Chacoon Blue, one of the most sought after modern jumping sires known for producing offspring with exceptional scope, carefulness, elasticity, and natural ability for the top levels of showjumping. Chacon Blue combined the blood of Chacco-Blue and Numero Uno. This line consistently produces horses with exceptional technique and competitive mindset, making it highly valuable in both sport and breeding. The presence of Numero Uno further strengthens the pedigree with additional power, reflexes and proven performance genetics. Buffalo’s sire, newmarket VM, adds refinement and athletic movement.

His dam Milton Mojito is sired by the famous Argento, who was ranked #1 in the WBFSH World Breeding Rankings and one of the most consistent winners on the global circuit. Argento was famous for his longevity and consistency at 1.60m level. As a sire Argento provides raw physical power, physical substance and a huge but adjustable stride. Through his dam side he brings in solid Dutch and Holsteiner foundations that reinforce the jumping engine.

Buffalo descends from the damline Fokfamilie 436 which is renowned for not just jumping ability but also athletic versatility and has long history of consistently produced top showjumpers and licenced stallions. His damline is anchored by the cross of Amethist x Amor, this foundation provided the physical frame and movement that allowed subsequent generations to excel when crossed with powerful sires like Numero Uno and Libero H. Buffalo’s granddam dam, Uralinde J.J, is by the legendary Metall who competed successfully up to Prix St. George and has produced several Grand Prix horses and licensed sons. Most notably, Carl Hester’s Uthopia. Metall introduces the powerful and active hindleg which translates into better adjustability between fences and a more balanced canter when used in jumping breeding. Buffalo’s damline is both sport results and Predicates. This indicates his female relatives weren’t just broodmares, they were proven athletes in jumping, eventing and dressage.

What makes the cross of Buffalo’s sire and dam particularly interesting is the balance between modern blood and sensitivity for the Chacoon Blue side and the proven strength, substance, and reliability from the Argento dam line.
