He is sired by the world renowned Numero Uno, one of the most successful sons of the legendary Libro H. After having a successful showjumping career himself, Numero Uno has proven to be one of the leading sires in the world famous passing on quick front leg reflexes and classic bascule. He has sired endless 1.60m showjumpers as well as 5* Eventers, Grand Prix dressage horses and six approved KWPN stallions. Numero Uno’s offspring have earnt more than €10 million in prize money to date. Additionally, Numero Uno descends a famous Holstein mare line, registered under number 429. Through Libero H, Buck carries the blood of Landgraf I, often refered to as the Stallion of the Century for his ability to produce horses with incredible technique and rideability. Numero Uno’s dam sire is Lord Calando, bringing the influential Lord bloodline. This specific cross is known for producing blood horses - lighter, faster and more reactive - to meet the demands of modern showjumping.

His dam Milton Mojito is sired by the famous Argento, who was ranked #1 in the WBFSH World Breeding Rankings and one of the most consistent winners on the global circuit. Argento was famous for his longevity and consistency at 1.60m level. As a sire Argento provides raw physical power, physical substance and a huge but adjustable stride. Through his dam side he brings in solid Dutch and Holsteiner foundations that reinforce the jumping engine. Argento’s pedigree contained blood that harmonises perfectly with Numero Uno. Both lines trace back to foundation Holsteiner stallions, increasing the likelihood of offspring to inherit massive scope.

Buck descends from the damline Fokfamilie 436 which is renowned for not just jumping ability but also athletic versatility and has long history of consistently produced top showjumpers and licenced stallions. His damline is anchored by the cross of Amethist x Amor, this foundation provided the physical frame and movement that allowed subsequent generations to excel when crossed with powerful sires like Numero Uno and Libero H. Buck’s granddam dam, Uralinde J.J, is by the legendary Metall who competed successfully up to Prix St. George and has produced several Grand Prix horses and licensed sons. Most notably, Carl Hester’s Uthopia. Metall introduces the powerful and active hindleg which translates into better adjustability between fences and a more balanced canter when used in jumping breeding. Buck’s damline is both sport results and Predicates. This indicates his female relatives weren’t just broodmares, they were proven athletes in jumping, eventing and dressage.
